Flared Pipes

Flaring is the term used for the widening of a pipe end by hydraulic means. This means that a pipe can be slid into the next pipe even though it is of the same diameter. Flared pipes are used in the foundation industry where space is limited and in cases where pipes are pressed into the ground for use as pipe sleeves.

Many fixed diameter pipes can be flared at the end, provided their wall thicknesses do not exceed 10 mm. They can also be equipped with welded or separate footplates. We can, furthermore, deliver pipes with a longer flare. This ensures that the pipes stay in line better.
